By educating youth in the community as to the methods and importance of conservation and ecological preservation, we build an aware population that values the fragile river which supports our livelihood.

This is a bootstrap endeavor, and we are presently at the very beginning stages of our effort. The Nature Center currently has no paid staff; all work is volunteer with the executive director working full-time and other board members working part-time toward its success.

Please, help us in our goal to bring Eagle Pass students to the top of science literacy in the international market.

Yes, this is the first grant to the Nature Center, and the Rio Bravo Nature Center Foundation, Inc. wishes to thank all of the individuals at Rio Grande/Rio Bravo Basin Coalition for their consideration.
